Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith described the new season of ‘Virgin River’ as, “Season 6 will take place a few months after Season 5’s Christmas-themed episode. When we return to our favorite town, it will be in the spring. Since spring is known as a period of growth and change, there will be plenty of surprises ahead for our favorite characters. Mel and Jack will embark on the path to becoming parents, as well as transform Lily’s (Lynda Boyd) farm into their dream home”
